Don't know how all you guys find information, too high tech for me I 've no idea about speed, ram gigabytes ect, all I know it's BT Infinity and can't really tell the difference in speed compared to what it was before but to me it's instant, remember I don't know about download or upload all I know its 1000 gb whatever that means!
I have no choice Sky have got a contract for where I live. But I am happy with the reception. No problems. I was a virgin customer for years no complaints.
Sometimes I wish you would lose your connection permanently
Every time I hear the word or see the word Virgin I get a mental picture of Richard Branson!
Thought I'd use the same test as everyone else......didn't make much difference.
Except BT said 13Mbs and this latest test drops it down to 12Mbs
I'll find that cable and connect it to my hub and see what difference it makes......more later
I think it depends upon the time of day too.
Mine is still rubbish, for what I've been paying them for the past 6 years...especially upload speed.

Tell you what guys Virgin has this one in the bag by a long shot.
All the others playing catch up and always been left so far behind.
Virgin seem to get faster and faster been with them myeslf for years, awesome speed and never had a problem...
Yes pricey but reliable, and no download limits although they do slow you down a bit at teatime.
I only wish their broadband callcentre was in the Phils...like their mobile phone one.
As a company they are horrible-many complaints about them but they do by far and away have the best product,so as long as you don't have to ring em it's all good.
Dont forget most of the other so called independent suppliers all use Bt's fibre cable so you end up dealing with two sets of idiots.
My son is having a problem now-he is with talk talk but Bt own the fibre line and it's causing a lot of about.
I was with o2 2007 till this Feb, initially got Broadband free 'cos mobile phones with them, they reneged on that a couple of years ago & have been paying them £6.50 a month. What happens last Sept or so they flog their home broadband to Sky. This Feb I had a nightmare of a switch over mainly due to Skys inability to help me configure MS Outlook correctly using a non Sky domain - sorted after about 7 days. They've done me a deal of 12 months at £5.00 per month, when the times up I'll probably go for BT Fiber as I loath Virgin and all the stuff they want to sell you with the broadband. There is also history round here of yobs easily breaking into the Virgin cable roadside boxes
