    Family separated due to ‘callous’ immigration rules

    if she cant get him here, why cant she go and live in America

    ‘Callous’ immigration rules have left a family separated by thousands of miles because a woman’s health prevents her earning more than £18,600.

    Signs that the current figure is a wage that is still beyond the reach of a substantial number of British families, can be encapsulated in this link to the press photo of a mother & son ... neither of whom look to be "on the breadline", in spite of their household income being below that amount.

    More stupid people who seemingly are incapable of planning their lives more than a week ahead, but seem to have no problem reproducing (and out of wedlock).

    What excuse has the boy's father for not seeing him for 2 years ? That's ridiculous .
