If you are willing to travel to south Manila, i would recommend the Union Jack Tavern in Alabang.
The public bar can sometimes remind you of a local in the UK, as a newbie gets a good who the hell are you stare when they first walk in.
The food is pretty good and they have a decent selection of beers.

I've been to a number of pubs in Alabang too, lots of expats about there. Jake ........ does the Union Jack Tavern have a shop attached to it in the shopping mall selling things like tea, teapots, etc. ? If so, I have been there too.

My brother's "local" where he regularly ate English food was the Australian pub in Alabang and also the San Mig pub but I don't know whether they are still there today.

That's the one Not sure about teapots, however they do have a large selection of foods. I am a local, so i cant afford to eat out and shop like these expats!
The owner is originally from Sunderland and now owns the largest chain of hairdressing salons in the Philippines.
