    Some of the replies in this thread really worry me. It amazes me that people pay more attention to scaremongering from the right-wing press and Nigel Farage, than all the mainstream parties, the majority of business leaders, economists, academics, etc.

    It's probably escaped you but you don't have to be right wing to be anti EU.
    Some leading lights on the left of British Politics have been quite vocal in their opposition to Europe.
    UKIP is not the only anti EU party you can vote for at the forthcoming elections.
    I think you'll find that this forum pretty much reflects the view in the country at the moment 50/50.
    You feel free to trust Cameron Clegg and Milliband on such an important issue. I choose not to.
