Any advice on selecting safety footwear

It depends what you're wearing them for and the time of year.

In winter I always preferred Rigger boots. They're not much good for driving though.

I once had a pair of riggers in the 90s. All that rubbing gave me bald patches on the sides of each leg Hair still refuses to grow there.

You cant really blame that on the riggers though.

That comes with age mate. They'll be bald almost everywhere in another year or two. ...no idea why.
