..... My wife is looking to re book her test as soon as possible after the Hopkins test was cancelled. She is a little confused at the moment and stressed after a long wasted journey.

IELTS is a slightly more advanced level than A1 being graded at B1 as a minimum....this can be an advantage once she arrives to UK and starts to consider ILR etc

Cambridge English has Various approved Tests and offers Test Centres in Cebu City, Makati and Pasig

There's also Pearson with their Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) graded from A1 upwards to C2
