... once again, it goes to show just how precarious a soccer manager's career actually is - when his team has to keep on winning ... ... or he's OUT!

So he hasn't actually been sacked, just a paper saying he could be (wow, takes a genius to see that coming!) Just so they can say "you heard it here first"

Personally I would keep him. But then I love seeing Man U lose and all the fans who don't know failure cry about it. Try supporting West Ham!

Hahahaha...I was just posting what I read, and what the commentators in LFC TV has said a few minutes ago..

Although like Dedworth said, they could've given him another season at least.

Judging by the amount of current reports sounds imminent which upsets me as I was hoping they'd give him another season

Fingers crossed for Giggsy & The Nevilles to be given the next length of rope

"I would like to remind you this club stood by me in bad times, the players and the staff," he said.

"Your job now is to stand by the new manager."

As it is a public limited company on the New York Stock Exchange, they have to announce any sacking there first. Which will be around 1pm tomorrow.

Manchester United manager David Moyes has been sacked, only 10 months after succeeding Sir Alex Ferguson at Old Trafford.

It seems the Glazier's think that they have an infinite right to be on the top 4 .

This was Les's comment. I'm totally happy with Moyes - people forget how we nearly got rid of Sir Alex. Keep saying it, first season a period of settling in...
And he says I dont know anything about football.

Plenty of vacancies for Moyes, but it seems that the list of managers linked to ManU are quickly dropping out. So it could be Steve McClown

Following his sacking from Man Utd, David Moyes has wasted no time in getting a new job working for Sky.

He installs his first dish next Monday

This is a good day. The turmoil at ManU continues, and the owner's greed is taken out on Moyes.

Following the sacking of Moyes, the police have been called to quell the protests outside Old Trafford.

The Liverpool, Man City, and Chelsea fans have been all told to go home.

Ryan Giggs is the first person in history to have both played and managed Man Utd and slept with his brother’s wife.
