No doubt Putin will give UKIP his full backing.... He's currently limbering up in the Ukraine
By the age of 21 I had been made redundant twice.........I had a wife and 2 babies at home relying on me. No way was I going to continue going through my life with the ever present threat of redundancy hanging over us
I got out and chose a different profession. It's as simple as that
this coming May UKIP will get my vote if i remember to do it
What an EXCELLENT party political broadcast that was by UKIP on the telly this evening.
Good ol' unions, N.U.T dragging teachers out on strike again.
My heart bleeds for the poor teachers
Yes, and for the poor kids who's education they're hell bent on disrupting at exam time.
Exactly! Elections are won in the middle ground.
This forum seems to be populated mainly by some on the left and some quite far to the right, but the vast majority of the electorate are somewhere in the middle. I put myself in this bracket and I have no real allegiance to any political party. I'll just be voting for who I think will do the best job for me, my family and the country.
Our voting system means that (hopefully) those votes cast for parties on the extremes of the left and right will not translate into any MPs and we end up with a government somewhere in the middle.
Here's the bleeding hearts predictable take on the posters :-
Cardinal Vincent Nichols, leader of the Catholic Church in England and Wales, said it was wrong to use expressions that suggested "dismay or distress at all these people coming to this country".
Tory backbencher Nicholas Soames described the poster campaign as "deeply divisive, offensive and ignorant", while Labour's Mike Gapes branded the posters "racist".
Jim Murphy, the Shadow International Development Secretary, said Ukip's euro election launch was "another desperate cry for attention" and suggested the party's online support was not necessarily all it appeared to be.

They don't like it up 'em
why would that be ? EU law overrules UK laws, we cant deport foreign criminals because of their rights, today we find out that immigration officers now cant ask people from the EU how long they are staying for or what they have come for
The EU is a joke, an EU citizen can bring their non EU partner to the UK, but as EU citizens we don't have the same rights to bring our spouse to the UK
my father worked and paid taxes, i' work and pay taxes, so why should someone from the EU be entitled to the same benefits as a British citizen after being in the UK only a few months?
the EU has taken the Great out of Britain not UKIP
i'll vote for them in the Euro elections not but in UK elections
A tad earlier than Jamesey's 50 years ago would suit me just fine :-
Death Penalty for Murder & Treason
Discipline in School
Everything in English - no translations to 140 languages
A working and efficient NHS
Schools providing a decent education
Control of our borders
Proper level of spending on armed forces
Better policing
Cheap Beer & Petrol
Some people still confuse 'progress' with 'better'.
LEMMINGS come to mind.
Thanks Dedworth.
Us 'extremists' are well-intentioned, but misunderstood at times.
Exactly. Happy St.George's Day !
St George was born in Palestine. UKIP wouldn't have let him in!
Unless we were short of dragon slayers.
Blimey - after inflation down, unemployment down, wages up, now crime down - Labours hopes are fading fast
