    visa granted

    exactly six weeks after submitting my application my visa had finally been granted with no interview. recieved a text from uk vacs wednesday as i was not home to receive my parcel. picked it up yesterday straight from bora and unfortunately i was in glorietta having lunch in cpk when the bomb blasted in glorietta 2. and yes it was scary.

    thanks to everyone esp to ginapeterb and to the boss.

    doing my cfo seminar on monday and im flying on thursday.

    I CANT WAIT TO BE WITH MY HUSBAND!

    Many congrats on the visa! I'm getting ready for Gracy to arrive back in UK next week too....so can easily imagine how excited your hubby must be right now!

    As much as possible.

    Ps if you bump into him your never know, about a year ago i had to vist the Treasury office as i was being escorted though the security barriers. My host lets this other guy though, who i bump into with my laptop bag im like sorry mate. My host goes sorry had to let the boss though, I said oh has your manager changed? (his dept boss i knew and i didn't recognise this bloke) oh no that was Gordon Brown.

    oh, i was shaking when i got to the ukvacs office. not because i was scared, its because i got stuck on the lift on the 19th floor. the door slightly opened (4 of us inside) and it stayed like that for 4 minutes. i thought i was just going to stay in there forever! so to those of you visitng the application centre, do not use the farthest lift on the right side. i told the people on ukvacs and apparently it is not the first time it happened on the same lift so just stay away from it!

    thanks to all of you!!!! and no, i will definitely be hanging around. i wanna be part of the backbone now
