My wife is reading and learning bit by bit for her test by the end of 5 years but we hope to have her take it in 1-2 years.
Anyway, I took the test and failed! I am reading the book now because honestly the amount of history and UK knowledge I have is pathetic so at least I can test my wife and she me!

... it's common knowledge by now that even the incumbent (or should I say the encumbrance?) of Number 10 - whose government devised the "new~fangled" test - hadn't a
clue as to when 'Magna Carta'was signed!
