Still,the *sentence is lengthier than the 71-year-old PR guru is thought to've expected and consistent with the fact that the offences were, for the most part, committed decades ago. Moreover, *it reflects the defiant Clifford's arrogance in refusing to apologise to his victims ... some of whom had been subjected to the ordeal of appearing in court to testify against him.
