My husband is an EU Citizen and I have been granted a one-year Schengen visa by the French Embassy in London last year (expired March 2014) so I have met two eligibility requirements.
DOCUMENTS POSTED

- Signed Declaration Form (since I hold a Philippine Passport )
- Applicant’s Passport + 1 copy
- Applicant’s Biometric Residence Permit + 1 copy
*Identity documents should be valid for 3 months beyond the return date of scheduled trip.
- 2 colour photos
- Marriage Certificate + 1 copy
- Spouse’s Passport + 1 copy
- Proof of Address (this is to prove that you are living together) + 1 copy
*I just included one Bank Statement with my name and one utility bill with husband’s name on.
- Postal Order of £17 paid to ‘VF Services Ltd’ (this is the service charge, there is no visa fee)
- Pre-paid, self-addressed Royal Mail Special Delivery Envelope.
Once I have gathered all the documents, I sent them via Special Delivery to the following address:
Germany Visa Application Centre,
