I recently jumped ship and changed from Samsung to Sony.

I am now the proud owner of the Sony Xperia Z2 phone and Tablet.

I took the phone with me recently to Cebu and the 20 mp camera was impressive. The phone has a dedicated shutter button.

The video quality was awesome.

Both run android jellybean. The interfaces are very different to samsung but you do get used to it.

Battery life on the phone is amazing compared with Samsung. My galaxy S4 mustered around 10 hours. My Sony xperia Z2 lasts well over a day with a lot of use.

Build quality is good and the phone feels like a premium device.

The tablet is a great addition as you can connect a sony PS3 controller and play games. (you can connect the controller to the phone as well). Its very light and the screen has an excellent vivid screen.

I would recommend getting the magnetic charging docks for both and the official cases. That way you don't have to keep opening the fiddly ports to plug the charger in.
