Hello from sunny Bournemouth!

Hello everyone!

My name is Sarah. I already posted an intro here but it was back in 2009!

I am 26 and live with my boyfriend in Bournemouth, Dorset. I am half English/Filipino on my mother's side, but was born and raised here in the UK and have only visited my family in "the Phils" 4 times, so far.

Since I moved out from home last year I am missing the close knit feeling of my mum and her gaggle (what to call a group of Filipino women? Apart from LOUD. Hahaha!) of Filipina friends who I all call "Ate." lol

I am just looking around but I am also hoping to find Filipina friends in Bournemouth (might be a long shot but oh well) or a club/social group/organisation etc, who would maybe like to meet up and converse with me in Tagalog so I can try and learn.

I have heard many ladies speaking Tagalog in both Poole and Bournemouth as there are many Filipina nurses at the hospital. It won't take you long to find a few friends to chat to.
