Alas ... I was born 'Virgoan' (a breed noted for its "perfectionist" nature) therefore, it'll be no surprise to anyone here that I spent many years as a Record Keeper in Social Services - work requiring meticulous attention to accuracy & detail. But it was a very demanding role. And so, it will be even less of a surprise when I tell you that being retired is definitely the best "job" I've ever had!

Now ... with hindsight, ... if I'd been suitably qualified - not to mention endowed with the brainpower needed - I would've dearly loved to have been ... ... an Archivist, perhaps ... in order to indulge my keen interest in historical matters.
