Misamis Oriental second district representative Juliette T. Uy had a meeting with officials from the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines in line with the renovation and enhancement of facilities of Laguindingan Airport. According to Congressman Uy, installation of navigation aids will be completed by November this year. Since then, Laguindingan Airport can accommodate evening flights and weather circumstances like heavy rainfall will no longer be a problem. Flights to Hong Kong, Macau, and Singapore will be catered soon once or twice a week.
