Just an idea of what the requirements will be if you and your partner intend to marry in a Catholic Church.
MARRIAGE BETWEEN A FILIPINA AND FOREIGNER INQUIRY FOR MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS:
STEP 1. The foreigner will contact the bishop of the parish church first. This can be done by telephone conversation.
Step 2. The Filipina will contact the bishop of the parish church also for her own requirements and further instructions and ask for a schedule when to get the checklist of requirements from the office of the Msgr.
All documents must have a photocopy for office file.
Step 3. Clearance from the office will be issued as soon as the requirements will be completed.
This is for the DIOCESE OF DUMAGUETE (I'm not sure with other places)
