Ended up going to the dentist today after being plagued by recurring toothache for most of the past weekend.Turned out an *abscess

... what I meant to say was - in spite of consuming a full 16-pack of Tesco's extra powerful painkillers since the onset of the problem late last Friday evening and starting my prescription - I'm still getting
agonising twinges gnawing away while I sit here waiting impatiently for the antibiotics to "kick in" properly.
Ouch!
Dave has got the same problem, they put filling on his tooth six months ago and realized it was no good and needs to be extracted in the end
I never stop contacting NHS 111 until the problem was resolved...He is now a happy bunny but not happy paying 50quid for it
