IMO, the victim's death could've been avoided ... ... had Barani's threat to carry out the killing of another person been taken seriously!

That's the problem with "headshrinkers" and social workers ... they seem to live in cloud land - preferring to brush aside such "statements of intent" made by people who are clearly psychotic - instead of acknowledging the distinct possibility of those threats developing into grim reality with tragic consequences.
