In my case, I booked the appointment online a week ahead at 2PM and got the results at 5pm. A friend told me to send an e-mail rather than calling IOM because according to her, phone lines are always busy.

Thanks, I sent an email off earlier... So hopefully will hear in a few days... I also text the numbers to my wife that are on the website, just incase she manages to get through.
