UK visa approved

I got an email yesteday from the UKVI that my passport will be despatched, and now my passport is back. I am so happy of the result.

Planning to fly into the UK next month.

Just like to say thanks to all once again from me and the missus (Cheng). This forum helped us with the requirements to get married and again with the visa application. Lodged the application 13th May so was a bit quicker than expected. To all the posters and information givers, too many to mention but you all know who you are, thank you/maraming salamat.

I think you should come early on your TB screening appointment. The earlier the better - even though you book an appointment.

No matter what time, first come, first served.

I didn't avail the SMS service. However, the VFS officer in Cebu mentioned to keep my phone lines active and regularly check my e-mail.

Some say that they received an SMS 3 days after the application and others say they only received a text when the documents/visa were already ready for pick-up..
