Have you tried calling the Filipino embassy in the UK, they might be able to answer some questions or at least tell you where to try asking?

Yes, but they may be aware of someone having had a similar problem in the past and know how they managed to solve it. In my work I am used to dealing with visas and speaking to the Embassies, and to be honest, you will never manage to speak to a human being by trying to call a British Embassy. The Philippine Embassies here in the UK will at least answer your call and try to help you. Or, as I say, if they cannot help they will often point you in the right direction.
Another idea is to find a visa agency and pay them for advice but this is an expensive option. Or the Citizens advice here in the UK can often offer advice on this kind of situation as well.
Hello RaynaCalling the Philippine Embassy will be of no use since the problem is her visa and not the passport.
You are right they cannot help us

I'm sick of these numbers now. So we wrote to them as well This was over a week ago, well past their sell by date as we still have not heard a peep out of them.
If you care to look back at some of my earlier post I mentioned it before too.
We have looked around their websites for the UK Border Agency and cannot find a form that is there. All we need to know is exactly which application form it is so that we can complete?
I've only got a week more to go before I have to come back to the UK and I am afraid of how my wife will cope with seeing me leave her here behind?
Thanks again all for your help.
Try contacting your MP and tell him/her about your situation. That may speed up whatever the process you need.

Hello Rayna. Thanks I will do just that.Try contacting your MP and tell him/her about your situation. That may speed up whatever the process you need.
Hello all
I did try to contact my MP
Mrs Theresa Villiers, House of Commons, London SW1A 0AA
www.theresavilliers.co.uk
Totally useless, she (her security officer) just told me to go to the UK Border website and put the phone down.
I think the UK government is having an anti immigration moment these days...
I have to leave here and travel back to the UK on Saturday 16th Aug. If we can't get into the Embassy or hear from them by then?
I don't know what else we can do?
JP
Hello all
After trying everything in the book and many other ways to get some attention to our plight to draw some advice and guidance from the UK Border Agency Sites and also your help here, thanks
Starting tomorrow morning my wife and I will be standing outside the British Embassy in Manila.
We are planning to be there every day this week from Monday 11th until Friday 15th August. If we can't get in to see them by then???
But I do know that I have to leave here by the 16th August to fly back to the UK
Thanks again for this sounding board up here on your notice wall.
Of course we will keep you all up to date.
Bye for now
Why haven't you tried to book an appointment?
Here's a link to start you off for the online appointment system for Consular services
and a useful extract:-
If you require an urgent appointment, we will need to receive evidence supporting your request, i.e. valid flight ticket showing travel, etc. Please send an email to cons.manila@fco.gov.uk for any questions.
Hello Moderator.
Thank you for this information in regards to making an appointment.
We were there on Monday, could not get in to see anyone. Then Tuesday - with no joy - and on Wednesday the staff were all at a meeting, so it is back again tomorrow, Thursday!
A bit down!
JP
Hello,
Thursday and Friday were no go at the Embassy.
Anyway in a few short hours from now I will take the flight back to the UK.
Thought to let you know
If there is anything more to say?
JP
Have a good flight
You can expect the compassionate UKVI to ask you why you don't move out to the Phils to be with your wife...rather than bothering to simply check her visa status on their computer and then sending her a copy of it to stick in her new passport.
Thanks all
I am now back in the UK minus my wife
It was not nice to leave her at the gates to say the least
We stood outside every day sometimes in the pouring rain as you know how heavy this can be?
No matter how much we knocked upon their door, they would not open it to even come out and see us.
Well, what can I say to this?
I'm not asking for your pity or sympathy
I just wanted some help to understand all this rigor-moulds
Anyway what is done is done and no use of crying over spilt milk will help me now
About moving to the Philippines, it's an idea
To tell you something moderator, I notice that you only posted that link of yours the other day. 1 week ago, by then it was too late for us. Appointments take up to 2 weeks at least to be seen by the staff at the Embassy as I had noticed this from their website.Yes. Why didn't you book an appointment?
It's been 3 weeks since your first post.
Hi Jon, sorry to read what's happened the past couple of weeks or so, What do you propose to do next?
I really don't know what to do nextHi Jon, sorry to read what's happened the past couple of weeks or so, What do you propose to do next?
I am in a sort of a shock over all these experiences of these last few weeks
My suggestion would be now you're here in the UK, is to get in touch with the Home Office or get an Immigration Solicitor to put your case forward. Don't know if anyone has any other ideas.
Whatever you do, good luck!

I think it looks like we may have to do and fill in all the same application forms again?
I am not completely sure, as I've not heard from my enquiries as to which forms we need to complete this time?
My experiences are that they do not reply to you as a human being, it's all machines at the border agency these days...headwall-banging stuff
JP
Get sorted Jon, you and your other half need to be together and you can do it!
