Yes but I don't feel any shame Tiger - it was different times. We were lucky to be such a capable race of people. The strong took the spoils - pretty much always have done and always will - it's human nature.
I'm very proud of the British Empire and wish we still had it.
Also, as much as we are damned, we brought a lot of these countries civilization, and many would not be as strong and advanced as they are now.
