10,000 a year in the diesel @ 28mpg and 8000 in the other one @ 20mpg

I don't want to work it out as it'll probably depress me. The thing that confuses me is the fact that my insurance is cheaper than my road tax

Never thought of it like that, insurance cheaper then tax.

I get 100 litres of diesel a month, but I drive a petrol engined car. I sell the diesel but I am losing out I know, so it would be best for my next car to be a diesel but which one.

My daughter works for a VW dealer and the cars that come back which are diesel with problems because they dont do lots of miles does put me off
