Iraq crisis: RAF Tornados to be ready to join aid effort

RAF Tornado jets are to be sent for possible use in the aid operation in northern Iraq, where many thousands of people are fleeing Islamist fighters.
The Ministry of Defence said the planes would leave RAF Marham in Norfolk within the next 48 hours.

It should have remained under Saddam's control, then the Middle East would have sorted their own problems out!

Many Arab states needs to be run by a tyrant as they are incapable of governing themselves having precious little understanding of personal responsibility. Libya is another example

It certainly won't be the Tony Blair Faith Foundation - we've not heard his Peace Envoy take on this latest Middle East bloodbath yet

    Hmm ...

Question: What IS it with the Yanks that they're concentrating so much on *Iraq?

Answer: Well ... "Oi'l" be damned!

... let the buggers *there fight it out amongst themselves.

Saddam is dead: ... ... so the fact that the strife continues, is dam(n) sad,

    BUT, surely it's

... high time they turned their attention to putting an end to the MASS slaughter of innocent women and children in those other Middle Eastern States/Regions - like Syria and Gaza.

Exactly Arthur. Let them fight it out themselves. There is no need for our intervention.

I notice the Russians and Chinese are keeping out of it. There is a rumour going around that Saudi are funding ISIS. No need for us to intervene.

It was the UK and the U.S that created the mess when they bombed Baghdad back to the stone age based on a big black lie..
Now let them clean it up.
