I might pop in there... I have a rice cooker now, still haven't mastered how to stop it sticking to the bottom!

I would get a 10 kilo bag of rice to go with it, may work quicker

I could be wrong, but I think that cheap rice cooker doesn't turn off once the rice is done. You have to time it then get up and turn it off or on to warm setting.........presumably if you forget it will burn.

If so, not perhaps a good buy? Even the cheap Argos one we have turns off automatically, so you can just turn it on and forget for a bit

    As I said though - don't know

As Michael says like all of them it goes warm when done - it's better than the Argos Cookworks one (which are now £12 one year warranty ours is now in reserve in the garage ) it has a steamer attachment. Top buy got me off the Tampo and brownie points to boot

I didn't buy one, but saw them today in Lidl. I read the box and like has been said, it does switch to auto warm automatically.

Just on the subject of Lidl - got some good deals on 500ml bottled English beers the other day their "own brand" Hatherwood Golden Goose & Ruby Rooster (actually brewed by Ringwood) £0.99, Shepherd Neam Spitfire & Bishops Finger £1.25
