Les - Have a look at RAC via Quidco (Cashback)

Yes looked - but not a lot of difference dedicated.
I need roadside relay and it quotes about £85. The basic option of rescue only gets you home from 10 miles. I'm usually much further away. Still think AA will do me a deal.
Even funnier if you break down today![]()

My cover doesn't run out till Sept, ha ha!
Ah - didn't see that, as was browsing on phone - cheers, may take option up.Les, you then get £40.00 cash back via Quidco so £45 nett
Will just see if AA come crawling back.
I have a basic recovery included in my taxi insurance too
I've been with this lot for a few years - had them out a couple of times, a pretty sound operation. You pay and then claim back from them costs £39.90pa inc home start, recovery etc

£65 a year I pay, breakdown, home start, relay and European cover too.
Paid it since I have had the car.![]()
Looking online it can be had for as low as £30 but still rather stay with AA if possible
I get mine through the Civil Service
Never found anything else to come close on price or cover.
Prior to that I was with the AA for donkey's years.
Always managed a fair deal. They helped me out a number of times and despite some stories folk will repeat they're OK
