I have one, don't like it.

I have the smasung chromebook, I won it in a competition a couple of years back. I only use it when traveling. It was handy in Philippines. But no good at all if you haven't got an internet connection as it is basically a paperweight when offline as you can't do anything!
My main laptop battery is knackered so it's mostly plugged into the mains as I only get 45 mins out of a charge.

So the smasung chromebook is good as a backup, but not much more.
