SSS Benifits for foreigners in the Philippines

If you are under 50 and plan to live in the Philippines they may be of interest to you.

Anybody who is a permanent resident and under 50 is eligible to apply.

Since 2009 I have been a member of the Philippines social security system. It entitles me to the same benefits, as Philippine citizens and if I make it, a full pension.

I pay the maximum amount which is around 1,700php per month.

    Requirements For Registration

    Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR)

Bring other related documents, whatever is applicable to your residence or immigration status, in case additional papers are required:
    -- ACR I-CARD
    -- Passport
-- Immigrant Certificate of Residence (ICR)
-- Board of Commissioner's (BOC) Order
-- Official Receipt of fees paid to the Bureau of Immigration

If you follow the link below it explains contributions and what your pension would be at today's rate.

My mum has continued paying for mine, PHP500/month. Although I was also paying the maximum amount since I started working until I arrived here.

If you're under 50 years old and hold permanent residency in the Philippines, you can apply for the Social Security System (SSS), which provides benefits akin to those available to Philippine citizens. With a maximum monthly contribution of around 1,700 PHP, you'll qualify for a full pension.
