It's bemusing at what some business owners come up with.

I was on my way to get my hair cut some years ago and I'd been going regularly to the same barber for a while. One day I couldn't get in the door. The shop front had changed too and it wasn't possible to see inside. An intercom had been installed and after a few seconds I heard the barbers voice.

"Hi Jamie, how are you? Unfortunately we now only accept customers who are members"

"Err...............huh?"

"Yes, you will need to fill out an applic........."

Heard enough.
