Hi!

Good day everyone.

I'm a new member here, and I signed up basically to seek help from you guys and to meet new friends as well.

I am a Filipina, and I am currently in a relationship with a British guy. We started planning to take it to the next step. He'll be coming over next year, and we will talk about the possible processes(?) and requirements(?) about marriage and living together in his home country.

It's both our first time to be in a long-distance relationship, therefore, we're really ignorant about it. I know that there are websites to support our research, but it will always be great to hear from people who had the same situation as us. I would like to know what step should we take first after his visit..?

I just found this website while browsing about visas, and upon reading some threads, I was interested to know more, so I signed up. I asked RGL to do the same for us to get more ideas before we take actions.

To share something about us, we met in a social networking app in August last year. The conversation started good, and we unexpectedly make it continuous and fell in love. I was never afraid to open up as I am aware how good hearted British people are. My aunt's husband is British, and all he showed to us was kindness every time he visits here. I am not generalizing, but so far, RGL is proving it. We always Skype, but I am greatly looking forward to meeting him in person.
