A bill that would legalize divorce for all is before the legislature, but it does not have the support of President Benigno Aquino III, a bachelor and a practicing Catholic who declared divorce a “no-no” for this island nation.

's "rich" ... ... coming as it does from someone who hasn't been married himself.

My fiancee in the Philippines was married 27 years ago. 3 years after, and having had 2 sons by her, her husband abandoned them and went on to take another partner and eventually more siblings. Because we want to marry, she is now taking action to have the marriage annulled. We have been told this could be a lengthy and expensive process. When will the Catholic church come to their senses and move with the times. Surely the Pope can do something about it, after all he is supposed to be "THE BOSS"
