As far as I remembered, the agent I spoke in the Home Office last year they will only let you apply for ILR (from Spouse visa/settlement) if just 1 day late.. I knew someone who is just 6 days late and she still required to extend her visa.

So definitely AJRobertson23 will have to extend her visa before applying Indefinite.
Not an expert, I only try to help.

oh ladyj, i've read posts where someone has sent their visa app more than 6wks before they were in the uk 2yrs, and also i've read posts where people have sent it weeks late and still got the visa.. its all about luck, you could be 1 day late and lose your visa fee, it depends if you want to take the risk, my wife came to the uk nearly 7wks after her visa was issued, i applied for FLR, becuase i knew there was a big risk they would refuse my app. , so it cost me an extra £330.. but £750 is a lot to gamble with, but if i was this lady, i'd take the risk, as the fee has to be processed and for all they know its in there system for xx days before a case worker looks at it, but as me and ladyj say .. its at your own risk

what would gambler scouser keith do, take the risk or pay up
