Same old story..........He said: "Apart from that the FCO have basically done nothing to help us.
"They can't get involved in the legal system, which we understand, but on the welfare side they've not helped us at all.

We have plenty to help everyone else in the world with a hard luck story...but not our own.

What is it they do these days apart from attending posh lunches and charity dinners?
I've been following this case closely as it involves a local guy who is well known here. The guy's wife has flown over a couple of times to see him.
The main problem seems to be the incredibly slow Indian legal system which has very bureaucratic procedures. Let's just hope it is resolved sooner rather than later.
