Has the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus launch left you drooling over your screen, waiting for the new phones to hit Philippine stores? We’ve got some good news: the wait will only be a few more days.
Philippine carriers Smart Communications and Globe Telecom will release the latest iPhones for postpaid plans on November 14, according to reports citing statements from both companies.
Subscribers may “register their interest” in the new phones now on Smart’s and Globe’s sites.
In addition to the Philippines, 10 other markets will roll out the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus on November 14: Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Chile, Guatemala, Lebanon, Kenya, Nigeria, Malaysia, and Uruguay.
The 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus are larger but thinner than their predecessor, the 4-inch 5s. The new handsets come with curved edges, and feature a Retina HD display and better sunlight readability, among other upgrades.
Apple launched the phones in September and it expects them to be sold in over 115 countries by the end of the year.
