    English Test for spouse/fiancee

Hi again..would like to ask what do they mean that you can prove your knowledge in English if you have an academic qualification that was taught in English and is recognized by UK NARIC as being the equivalent of a UK Bachelor's degree? Like if I am a college graduate /degree holder would it be possible that I don't have to take the English Language Test? How am I to know? Thanks

    Have a look here

Most folks have eventually decided to just go ahead and take an approved test.
Seems to be the most easy and secure route.

UK Naric do charge for their service which often results in a negative outcome anyway.

I think a few folks here have been down that road........

I'm guessing you're thinking of immigration visa time in UK before eligibility to ILR (Indefinite Leave to Remain)

These days the normal immigration journey is 5 years to ILR with a 'mid-term' FLR visa needed at after 30 month.

If you enter UK as Fiance then you'll need to get married/civil partnership before applying for the first FLR which lasts 30months then apply the second FLR for the final 30 months before application for ILR
