I think that's always been the case Fred.
As far as I understand that applies to everyone with multiple citizenship when visiting a country they hold a passport for.

So in reality,my kids are second class British citizens (whilst in R.P), EVEN if they were born in the U.K.
Don`t get me wrong..I`m not that worried as the UK consul support doesn't amount to much for Brit expatriates here anyway!

Sadly, yes Fred.

Although the Foreign Office verbally say they do not strictly adhere to the 'code' I've personally yet to learn a time when they've been the slightest bit flexible.
