Hi all. I have been away for quite while. Had a baby and had lots of complications with the birth. It was touching go for a bit but we are all healthy now.

I need to ask a question regarding my wife's spouse visa extension.

She is due to extend in November this year. I have an opportunity to take over a business which - after looking at the figures - makes a tidy wage of over 50k yearly.

I have seen lots of negative issues regarding the visa and self employment. I would not be able to produce a full year of accounts come November and am wondering if this will make it more difficult to gain the extension. It seems a huge sadness to lose a thing like this, but of course I do not need extra complications in my life at the moment. I am, of course, working at the moment and earning a decent wage but not 50k.

Could someone give me their opinions and advice concerning this dilemma?
