Miliband blocked Iraq War Inquiry again and again, says Cameron... and Labour leader dismisses the delay in two sentences

Shows what a devious, repulsive slug he is. Concealing the truth is second nature to the son of a Marxist

Blaming him for what his dad was

Miliband (Snr) joined the Royal Navy. He served on HMS Royal Arthur and HMS Valorous
and took part in the D-Day Landings and saw action at Toulon. Brave guy!

As for turning the lights out and being a Marxist, no need, I'd rather stay here with Red Miliband than live in a country that has the NPA, MNLF, MILF and Abu Sayyaf

Good tactics. A bit like Cameron dodging the TV debate. Looks like his days are numbered now though.

Did you read that link Andy? Cameron wanted an equal platform for all and so wanted the Green Party in on the debate. 81% of the Mirrors own poll agreed with him

The man who hated Britain: Red Ed's pledge to bring back socialism is a homage to his Marxist father. So what did Miliband Snr really believe in? The answer should disturb everyone who loves this country

Daily Snail , the facts are he was in the Royal Navy, risked his life and fought for this country unlike most on here

Dave, supporter of the Greens? Cameron wants an equal platform? Then why doesn't he make sure they all have an equal amount of money to spend on their election campaigns?

His doesn't want to be ripped apart on immigration and the NHS. Dedworth, where were these 2 on his priority list??

What I would like to see is those who were responsible for our troops being inadequately kitted out to do their job, being brought to account and justice served.

PM Will Be At Leaders' Debate, Says Shapps
negotiations needed to be debated with the broadcasters
What's to negotiate? If he doesn't turn up, carry on without him

David Cameron will take part in the televised leaders' debates, the Tory chairman told Sky's Dermot Murnaghan.

Grant Shapps said the Prime Minister "wants the debates to happen". However, he said that the negotiations needed to be debated with the broadcasters.

Speaking on the Murnaghan Programme, Mr Shapps said: "He thought they were a good innovation, we all did last time round.

The Englishman is a rabid nationalist. They are perhaps the most nationalist people in the world ... When you hear the English talk of this war you sometimes almost want them to lose it to show them how things are. They have the greatest contempt for the continent in general and for the French in particular. They didn't like the French before the defeat ... Since the defeat, they have the greatest contempt for the French Army ... England first. This slogan is taken for granted by the English people as a whole. To lose their empire would be the worst possible humiliation.

    Ralph Milliband.

Most of us were not young men during WW II.

If we had been, I doubt any of us would have had any choice in the matter!

Most of us weren't even born during WWII. Well ... I was ... ... but just at the tail~end of it; indeed, according to my mother - who never tired of telling me - my entry into the world coincided with the street lights in Glasgow being switched on after four and a half long years of blackouts!

Obviously, I cannot vouch for the authenticity of that! ... but another oft-repeated and definitely true tale she told me, was how, in 1941 - much to her chagrin - my father had *volunteered for service in the Royal Navy (only a few short months after he and mum got married )

Reason being, that by that stage, it was clear the war would be ongoing ... and *those who took the initiative were given the choice as to which of the three main services they preferred to join - rather than be simply drafted into one of them.

However, dad - a time-served automobile electrician - was informed by the Recruiting Office that his being a reserved occupation he'd be exempt from joining ANY of the Armed Forces and would, instead, be required to continue doing war work on the home front (making periscopes) at Barr & Stroud, Scientific Instrument Manufacturers with whom he was then employed.

Anything in the Daily Mail should disturb everyone who loves this country. The same newspaper that supported fascists in the 1930's and even later

Owner of the daily snail and Hitler in 1934

And who does the Daily Snail support these days ?

Interesting article Joe and an eye-opener but didn't the controversial original owner and developer of the Mail also originally own and develop the Daily Mirror?

The Mirror and Snail were created by his brother Alfred and he was no supporter of the Germans unlike his brother

Such was Northcliffe's influence on anti-German propaganda during the First World War, that a German warship was sent to shell his country home in Elmwood, Kent [15] in an attempt to assassinate him.[16] His former residence still bears a shell hole out of respect for his gardener's wife, who was killed in the attack.
