I remember seeing some posters in London - some charity wanting donations to stop FGM - yet it's illegal! It's like setting up a charity raising funds to stop burglary or GBH. Isn't it supposed to be called the police? You take your daughter to hospital with an infection from FGM, you should be arrested. If you swiped your kid's face with a Stanley knife and took them to Accident and Emergency, you can bet your bottom dollar you would be in handcuffs and on TV.
