Proposed immigration and nationality fees for all applications made from outside and within the UK.

Perfectly acceptable in my opinion. Fees should be tripled for nationals of countries where fraudulent applications, NHS tourism and overstaying are a matter of course ie the sub continent and various african countries

I'll have to disagree with you on this Dedworth.
I personally don't think the cost of the visa is any deterrent at all to those people intent on abusing the immigration system.
The genuine applicants are the ones who'll get badly hit.
