Nicking members off a site is easy, but that is unethical to me so I've never done it, getting 'fresh new' members in on a daily basis, and advertising revenue isn't.
This site has over 30,000 pages indexed on the major search engines, so comes up on the first page of most Philippine related searches, it also has over 27,000 other sites pointing to me, that's what gives me power in the search engines and values the site at a nice price if I sell it. Win2Win forum has over 150,000
My article directories have over 50,000, and one of them has an Adsense click-thru of over 10% and so Google pays the high rate, not the very low rate for new sites with low CTR.
Although Tom posts a lot, not many of his are indexed due to lack of relevancy as defined by Google
