A man who moved to the Philippines to seduce a poverty-stricken 16-year-old girl whom he photographed in sexually explicit poses and pretended to marry should be convicted of sexually exploiting the teenager, a prosecutor told a Los Angeles federal jury Tuesday, but the defense remained silent until later in the trial.

The minimum term for this guy should be 'Life'. It's pretty obvious to everyone that no child is safe from him. Eight years ago, he raped a 12-year old relative, then it seems upon his release, he must have started grooming this filipino child.
His defence team remained silent; how on earth can one defend the indefensible?
