Not everyone in Philippines reacts that way.
Certainly I wouldn't get into an argument with anyone in a bar or nightclub.
But on a day to day basis when interacting with people I'm definitely not going treated like a doormat by anyone. I don't like or enjoy confrontation but I not afraid to do so when I feel it's needed.
