i remember when i was an apprentice, the workshop was next door to a pub, the landlords dog used to use the zebra crossing all by itself it would wait just as we do, cars would come to a stop and off crossed the dog, a main road and im sure , the regular road travelers had become acustomed to the dog so were happy to stop just as they would for any human
