Smile New 90 Day Fiance TV Programme

For those of you who can view Sky, there is a new TV programme called 90 Day Fiance that started at 9pm this evening (Wednesday 25 Feb) on TLC channel. It appears to be based in US but numerous couples are being featured and one of them is a Filipina! Might be worthwhile watching, especially for those in a new relationship

Oh dear, Rosie ... wish I could've watched the programme; don't have either 'Sky' or Satellite though ... ... I'm afraid.

Yes it's US based and in line with US rules.

Here in UK it's 180 days on a Fiance(e) Visa to finally decide whether the long distance courtship will finally end with a marriage.

Although much longer than US the relationship and cultural issue are the same.

I've personally not known of any cases where the marriage didn't take place with the 180 days UK time limit and the couple split-up.

I have personally known many cases where immediately after the marriage the foreign female partner was subjected to many type of abuse. Very sad and very cruel.

Should be a very interesting programme
