I was watching the BBC News on Thursday, they are doing a regular report on Dudley (West Mids) and they interviewed some College Lecturer from Wolverhampton. When asked what effect Immigration was having in Dudley, he said the immigrant population in Dudley is 2% so it's having minimal effect on the jobs market.
2%? He has to be joking!

If you put zero on it you will be closer, but in my opinion 30+% would be nearer the mark - especially if you include the Asian Community. This is another thing that perturbs me, the constant underestimate of the current immigrant community which is peddled by the BBC. Just take a visit to Aldi, Lidl, your local job agencies, and just listen to the different languages that you hear.
