Round up of UK immigration changes from April 2015

So, reading between the lines, when my wife applies for her FLR next year the cost will now be £200 x 2.5 (2.5 years) £500.00. Would I be correct in my thinking?

Such changes would usually need to go out to consultation then formulated as proposals presented to parliament before becoming part of the immigration rules.

Peter, so as it says from April 2015 do you believe that's a bit ambiguous and that its going to be quite a while before this is enforced.

The reason I am asking like John as done is that Jamie will be applying for FLR in 2 months' time so basically she won't have to pay that amount but only the visa fee...???...
