    Hello Terpe
Is my wife's IELTS - International English Language Testing System still valid ?
She passed this last October, does it mean she has to re-sit it again?
    Regards

Yes, that's still valid. IELTS General & Academic Training (with speaking, listening, reading & writing categories) are all still valid and can be used in UK visa applications. They just added another type of test, which is the IELTS Life Skills (with speaking and listening categories only), so that for spouses/partners will only have to take the 2 categories that UKVI requires.

    Hello Terpe
    Thank you
Let me see if I've got this right?

So this means my wife has to have those 2 extra in order that she has them added to her other exams, and this means booking a course just to take these two extra to add on to her already full English certificate?
    Regards

No. Whatever IELTS test she had taken in October (I'm guessing it's the General Training), it's all fine. She doesn't need to take another exam. She only need to take one type of IELTS, it's either General Training or Academic Training or the Life Skills. Btw, I'm not Terpe.

    Hello raynaputi
Sorry about the mix up with your name
What you say above that she does not need to take another test but my wife still needs to have those extras as you mention onto her visa application?
Surely they don't just hand them out to anyone who ask for it? How does she go about getting a hold of these extra certificates?
    Thanks
