I'd have thought they would have gone for decent Aussie wheat rather than getting mugged for spurious French stuff
As I was once employed in the statistics dept of the old Ministry of Agriculture in London...sending out return forms to be completed by shippers/importers of various cereal crops, including wheat, I can tell you that most of the wheat WE imported from France in 1970 and 1971 was 'Durum Wheat'.![]()
